Page Appliance was established in 1950 in the village of Spencerport by R.I. "Rip" Page. Brothers John and Jim grew up in the business. After college they joined the business, and in 1978, became partners and sole owners. The business grew rapidly over the next 25 years, and it saw several major additions to the building it has occupied since 1955. Ten years ago, they also added nearby, off-premises warehousing to take advantage of larger inventory purchases. As Page Appliance is a member of Brand Source, one of the largest buying groups in the appliance industry, they can buy all the major brands at pricing that keeps them more than competitive with the huge chains. The business philosophy created by "Rip" Page over 56 years ago remains the same today: offer a large selection of America's favorite brands, provide the best possible non-commissioned sales people, provide prompt and efficient delivery with removal of the old appliance, and provide the best service available after the sale.
